When will my hotel reopen for business?

All of our partner hotels including Viva Wyndham, Grand Lucayan, and Flamingo Bay are
expected to reopen by December 2019.

Are there damages from the hurricane that make the island unsafe to visit?

No. Aside from some damaged trees, there are no signs of damage from the hurricane in and
around hotel areas.

What is the current condition of Viva Wyndham?

There are a few cosmetic details of the hotel that they are working on repairing. All
buildings and guest rooms are intact and did not suffer any flooding or water damage. The
restaurants, theater, and bars are all intact as well. They are completing a scheduled
renovation of existing standard rooms to update furniture, fixtures, and countertops.

What is the current condition of Flamingo Bay/Taino Beach?

There is minimal damage to the hotel, with only a small percentage of rooms having been
affected by the hurricane. The majority of the rooms in the hotel are intact and repairs
are already scheduled for the rooms with damages.

What is the current condition of Grand Lucayan Resort?

Thank you for your thoughts and patience during this time. We are pleased to announce that our resort has re-opened! While not all of our attractions and amenities are completely recovered from Hurricane Dorian, the Wave’s Pool Bar, Capri, Portobello’s and Aroma Café will have full guest access.

If my hotel is not up and running in time do I get a refund?

Will the hospital be open?

Yes. It’s scheduled to reopen mid-November. There is currently a temporary hospital in
operation.

When will the airport be open?

Presently scheduled for mid-December.

Where can we donate?

Our charity is called The Children’s Home. Details about donating funds, or your time
during your vacation, will be coming soon.
